FROM THE PAGES OF HISTORY BEGINS A CENTURY OF WAR.
In the days of China's Eastern Han Dynasty, the young emperor's power was
suppressed by an evil regent as traitorous eunuchs plunged the court into
chaos. The Han bloodline weakened, and the land was split amongst the strong.
It was a chaotic era when bones filled the fields and fires were seen for
thousands of miles. From the flames emerged the brilliant Cao Cao, the
warm-hearted Liu Bei, the wise Sun Quan, the powerful Lü Bu and the
tyrant Dong Zhuo. From beginnings both low and high, these men rose to power
in the third century to compete for the prize: the throne of China.
From the pages of history begins a century of war. The battle, one sure to
split the sky and break the earth, is now unstoppable...

“At his death, Taishi Ci said, 'For a man, the greatest honor is to be
allowed to carry a sword on his visit to the emperor. I have yet to accomplish
my goal, how can I die?' Sun Quan felt sorry for him.”

After being accepted by Sun Ce, Taishi Ci used his loyal personality and
military power to aid the Sun Wu family, eventually becoming a famous general
under Sun Quan.
In the early years of the Three Kingdoms era, Kong Rong, the North Sea
Minister stationed at Liaodong, heard of Taishi Ci and sent messengers to
recruit him and help take care of his mother. Later, when Beihai City was
surrounded by Yellow Turban rebels, Taishi Ci accepted his mother's advice
and aided Kong Rong by risking crossing enemy lines to go ask Liu Bei for
help.
Taishi Ci rained arrows down on the enemies at the foot of the wall. After
several days, enemy numbers started to drop and Taishi Ci found a weak point
in the enemy's formation. He charged out of the city, keeping his enemies at
bay with his impressive archery skills. After Taishi Ci reached Liu Bei, the
warlord was impressed by his bravery. He immediately sent 3,000 men to relieve
Beihai City. From then on, all of the heroes of the land knew Taishi Ci's
name.
Aside from being powerful in battle, Taishi Ci was a man of his word. He was
entrusted with many tasks by Sun Ce and Sun Quan, and achieved all that he
promised to accomplish. To compare him with the rebellious liar Lü Bu is
to compare heaven and earth. No wonder Cao Cao, who was at far north at the
time, wrote a letter personally to congratulate Taishi Ci upon hearing of his
heroic deeds.
