Fighting game for MS-DOS
THE FATE OF THE HAN DYNASTY IS IN YOUR HANDS!
In the final years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, under the reign of Emperor Ling,
ten eunuchs in the imperial palace abused their power. The country was
in a dreadful state of affairs; bandits began an uprising, and the people were
in turmoil.
The emperor asked the lords of the land to crush the rebellion, but this only
resulted in a race for power. After Dong Zhuo usurped the throne only to be
quickly defeated, civil war erupted.
Finally, it was Cao Cao who took control of the emperor, commanding the
lords in his name. After years of harsh fighting, Cao Cao united the north
and prepared to conquer the south in an attempt to unite all of China.
Liu Bei, the fate of the Han Dynasty is in your hands! Will you linger in fear,
waiting for death to find you? Or will you take a stand against the evil forces
of Cao Cao? Don't hesitate; take your five tiger generals and rush to destroy
the enemy!

After Liu Bei and Sun Quan united their forces and defeated Cao Cao at Chibi,
Liu Bei used the opportunity to attempt capturing the Jing province. After
Jang Fei and Zhao Yun conquered Ling Ling and Gui Yang, it was then Guan Yu's
turn to take over Zhangsha County. Before he left, Guan Yu was warned by
Zhuge Liang about Huang Zhong, a great archer serving under the county's
governing officer, Han Xuan. Even though his master was pathetic, Huang Zhong
was so skillful that he could use a bow with either hand, and had such sharp
aim that he could hit a target from one hundred steps away.
After Guan Yu's army arrived, Yang Ling, one of Han Xuan's generals, decided
to challenge Guan Yu. The result was that he more or less handed his own head
to Guan Yu. In the end, Huang Zhong went to the battlefield and fought Guan Yu
in a duel. Yet after an entire day of fighting, neither emerged victorious.
At one point, Huang Zhong's horse threw him off, giving Guan Yu the chance to
kill him. However, Guan Yu thought this would be unfair so he released Huang Zhong,
telling him to fetch a good horse before they finished their fight.
On the third day of their duel, Huang Zhong had the chance to snipe Guan Yu
from afar, but remembering Guan Yu's mercy from the previous day, he purposely
fired his arrow in such a way that it only pierced Guan Yu's helmet. Seeing
this, Han Xuan mistook their fight as an act, thinking Huang Zhong was ready to
betray him. When Huang Zhong returned to the camp, Han Xuan ordered his soldiers
to behead the innocent man. Luckily, Kui Yan saved Huang Zhong and slayed Han Xuan.
Following this, he opened the gates and welcomed in Guan Yu's army. After that,
Huang Zhong joined the ranks of Liu Bei.
Later, when Liu Bei waged war against Sun Quan and the Kingdom of Wu to avenge
Guan Yu and Jang Fei, Huang Zhong came along despite his ripe age of 75. Sadly,
he was careless, falling into a trap, being surrounded and wounded by arrows.
Though Guan Xing and Zhang Bao saved him, he died from his wounds that night.
A general should be prepared to die on the battlefield. Huang Zhong died where
he desired to die. He was indeed an amazing man!
