Fighting game for MS-DOS
THE FATE OF THE HAN DYNASTY IS IN YOUR HANDS!
In the final years of the Eastern Han Dynasty, under the reign of Emperor Ling,
ten eunuchs in the imperial palace abused their power. The country was
in a dreadful state of affairs; bandits began an uprising, and the people were
in turmoil.
The emperor asked the lords of the land to crush the rebellion, but this only
resulted in a race for power. After Dong Zhuo usurped the throne only to be
quickly defeated, civil war erupted.
Finally, it was Cao Cao who took control of the emperor, commanding the
lords in his name. After years of harsh fighting, Cao Cao united the north
and prepared to conquer the south in an attempt to unite all of China.
Liu Bei, the fate of the Han Dynasty is in your hands! Will you linger in fear,
waiting for death to find you? Or will you take a stand against the evil forces
of Cao Cao? Don't hesitate; take your five tiger generals and rush to destroy
the enemy!

GUAN YU |
Aside from his majestic appearance, Guan Yu is well known among the Chinese
people for his loyalty and righteousness. Sworn brother of both Zhang Fei and
Liu Bei, the three got along better than actual blood relatives.
At one time, Guan Yu was captured by Cao Cao. In an attempt to bribe Guan Yu
into loyalty, Cao Cao lured him with riches, women and high ranking positions.
Despite all of this, Guan Yu's loyalty to Liu Bei remained strong. In the end,
Guan Yu escaped and returned to Liu Bei's side. Seeing this, Cao Cao could
only praise him, saying, He did not forget his old master... a true man,
indeed!
Besides his loyalty, his superior martial arts skills also drove fear into
the hearts of his enemies. While held in captivity, he slayed famous generals
Yan Liang and Wen Chou from Hebei, to gain favor for Cao Cao. When he left
Cao Cao and returned to Liu Bei, he passed through five strongholds and
slayed six generals along the way. He met Lu Su's army alone, pressuring
Lu Su with his presence, and preventing him from executing Guan Yu's
assasination in order to take over the Jing province.
However, Guan Yu's personality did have one big weakness: pride. When
Zhuge Liang entered Sichuan to help Liu Bei, he passed along the duties
of guarding the Jing province to Guan Yu. More than once, he told Guan Yu
to stop Cao Cao in the north, yet be peaceful to Sun Quan in the west, but
Guan Yu ignored and disobeyed his orders. This was because he believed that
neither of the two opposing generals, Cao Ren and Lu Meng, were capable of
beating him. Thus he did not pay much attention to them. As it turned out,
when he led his army to battle with Cao Ren in the fields, Lu Meng sent
troops to ambush Guan Yu's army from behind, and succeeded in capturing the
Jing province. Guan Yu then fell into Sun Quan's hands and was executed.
Both Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang are legendary men from the Three Kingdoms era.
Those who knew their stories well admired them. According to folklore, Guan Yu
became a god after his death. People erected temples and worshipped him,
addressing him as the Sage of War.
